Preparations before operating the lawn mower

Before operating the lawn mower, it is essential to conduct a series of routine inspections and preparatory tasks. Position the equipment on a level surface. First, inspect the diesel fuel tank and cooling water tank. Open the tank lid and add the appropriate amount of cooling water as specified in the manual. Close the tank lid. Open the fuel cap and add the specified type of gasoline. Do not overfill the fuel tank. Close and tighten the fuel cap. Check the tire pressure to ensure it is normal. If insufficient, inflate immediately. Inspect the cutting deck to ensure it operates normally, and verify that the blades are intact. All drive system belts should have no cracks, and the drive wheels should function properly. If not, replace or adjust immediately. Place the transmission clutch lever and cutting clutch lever in the disengaged position, set the gearshift lever to neutral, release the cutting clutch wheel, and place it in the running position. Position the throttle lever in the middle position, start the engine using the crank handle, and after it starts, gradually increase the throttle. Push the transmission clutch lever to the engaged position. Then engage the low-speed forward gear, and the lawn mower will begin to move. When working in areas close to the village, the lawn mower can reach the destination on its own. However, since this lawn mower has a slow movement speed, if the distance is too far, a transport vehicle is still required.

Once the mower reaches the field, stop the equipment and make further adjustments. The wheelbase of the two wheels on this machine can be adjusted. As you can see, one side of the tire is connected to the rotating shaft via a plug. The rotating shaft has three connection ports. By connecting the tire to different positions, the wheelbase can be adjusted. When the slope of the lawn is steep, a wider wheelbase can better adapt to the terrain. Move the cutting attachment wheels to the working position and adjust the cutting height according to the required cutting height. This is primarily achieved by adjusting the position of these two screws. Tighten the connecting screws on the main shaft blade and the connecting screws on the protective cover. Place both clutches in the disengaged position, shift to neutral, restart the engine, slowly increase the throttle, gradually engage the cutting clutch lever, and the cutting deck will begin to rotate. Engage the transmission clutch, then shift to low gear, and the lawn mower will begin to operate.
